JoAnne Dorval-Dronyk suffered from numerous allergies as a child and developed symptoms of asthma as an adult. She was a participant in the 2004 clinical study that tested the effectiveness of the Buteyko breathing method in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Since that time she has eliminated her asthma medication (Flovent and Ventolin) using the Buteyko Breathing Method. As a recreational runner and cyclist, she has recognized the benefits of the Buteyko breathing in her training program as well. With such impressive improvements in her own health, JoAnne felt compelled to take her experience with Buteyko to the next level. In early 2007, she took her Buteyko practitioner training from Jennifer Stark, a highly regarded, published Buteyko practitioner based in Brisbane, Australia.

JoAnne is committed to help bring awareness of the Buteyko breathing method to Canadians through educational courses and talks. She believes everyone can learn something from taking a Buteyko course.
